You Rent at a Set Rate
The monthly rate you see when you sign your lease is the rate you'll pay.
That Rate Is Locked for 12 Months
From the day it's set, your rate cannot change for at least 12 months - this applies whether you've stored with us for 3 months or 30 years.
If We Ever Adjust Your Rate
You receive advance notice, and your new rate is locked for at least another 12 months.

Yes - to every customer, every time! The 12-Month Rate Lock Guarantee isn't a move-in promotion. It applies every time a rate is set, whether you’ve stored with us for 3 months or 30 years.
- What about move-in discounts and promotions - do those count as a rate change?
No. A move-in promotion (like a discounted first month) is a temporary discount off your established rate – not a change to the rate itself. When the promotion ends, you pay the rate you signed at, and The 12-Month Rate Lock Guarantee applies from day one.
- What happens if my rate is adjusted?
Your new rate is locked for at least another 12 months from the day it takes effect. The 12-Month Rate Lock Guarantee restarts with each adjustment - no matter how long you've been with us!
- How much advance notice do you give before a rate change?
You receive a minimum of 30 days' advance notice before any rate change. Once the new rate takes effect, it's locked for at least another 12 months!
- Does the 12-Month Rate Lock Guarantee apply to all unit types and sizes?
Yes! Every unit at Stowaway - climate-controlled storage, drive-up storage, RV and boat storage - is covered. No exceptions, no fine print!
